Water Search and Rescue with Basic Life Support Training was conducted at San Felipe Zambales initiated by Mr. Danny Boy Montes with the full support of the Local Government Unit of San Felipe headed by Honorable Mayor Reinhard E. Jeresano under the Municipal DRRM Office.
The aforementioned WASAR training took place last September 14-17, 2022 at Montes Residence and Fulgueras Beach Resort. This was done in response to the increasing incidents of drowning not just in our town but also in nearby towns as well and the training also served as a preparedness measure of the municipality when disaster comes.
The whole training was facilitated by the Philippine Coast Guard Special Operations Force.
